Sunday Sewing #4

So how excited do you think I am to have been mentioned in a magazine? I think everyone I know in person has been sent a copy of this photo :D Love Crochet May issue has a little note in the editor's picks section on crochet edging and, yes you guessed it, my pillowcases made a mention!

So obviously Him in doors and I used it as a perfect excuse to go out for Saturday afternoon tea, I had to snap this pick to share as I have a total soft spot for goats and these three chaps are the friendliest (and most petted) pub goats I've ever met.

For those of you that don't like goats here are some pretty rhododendrons to look at instead, they are blooming all over the park at the moment, it's quite the display!

Aaaaand back to the sewing!
I'm working my way through this Anna Maria Horner cross stitch, it's fun playing with colours and watching the pattern come together but I'm not too sure yet what I'll make with it once it's finished.

And finally tonight has seen some more Sew Sew Modern 5 secret-ish sewing, I say secret-ish as we have to post little update photo's to the Flickr group but don't share who our partner is until they receive their swap package.

I hope to have the bones of this sewn up tomorrow so maybe then I can share a little more :)

  4. How exciting to see a photo of your work in the magazine!! I can see why the editor wanted to show them off, those crochet edges are so pretty. I love goats! I love looking up baby goat photos on Pinterest!! If we had a local pub that had goats I'd definitely be there in a flash.
